Point Score Rules & Regulations

 METROPOLITAN POINT SCORE

Any financial member is eligible to participate in the Metropolitan point score. Members can be in either Metropolitan or Country point score, not both. Metropolitan is defined as within 150 km radius of the Brisbane GPO and Country is defined as outside this radius.

An entry fee of $5.00 per member or family membership per breed, payable before any dog owned by member or family membership can compete in the competition. This is payable prior entering the ring of the point score show. If point score money is paid aft4er competing in a point score show, the points received for that particular show would be classed as ineligible. Point score membership will not be backdated prior the date paid.

No repeat judge is permissible, ie, if there is a change of judge in any selected point score show which causes this situation, it would be automatic cancellation of that show as a point score show. A total of 10(ten) shows are selected comprising of 2 (two) Cattle Dog and Kelpie Club of Qld Inc specialty shows in February and June, the remainder are selected and voted on by the members at a general meeting prior commencement of the point score year. Back up shows are also selected and voted on at the same general meeting to cover inconsistencies that may occur.

There will be no local (Qld) judges at these shows with the exception of the ACD&K club show.
